another sailing weekend
so another student wasn’t able to make it to class which left only two of us and we were able to finish all the requirements in one day instead of the usual two which sort of sucks since it was one day less out on the water. BUT .. i was able to get on a nice boat for sunday’s Opening Day on the Bay out of its slip at Pier 39 in SF. hanging out with Rod on Sat night was cool in Berkeley although I had the worst case of food coma and passed out at 9pm.
sunday was made up of: Macondo, a 50′ Beneteau First sail boat, a beautiful partly cloudy day with nice winds, bbq lamb “pops”, red wine, beer, a view from under the golden gate and some very cool company.
