almond milk tea with pops
so i met up with pops at stanford last night to chat since i haven’t seen her in awhile. it was a warm rainy night and i was in a great mood. i really miss meeting up with people for coffee or drinks and just talking about anything and everything. so pops is heading out to philly in july for med school and leaving the bubble of california. i think she’s gonna have a great time being on the east coast and there are a bunch of people out there to play with.
i think i love california too much to move away for very long. there was this couple on macondo a couple weeks ago that had just recently moved to san francisco from london. and just talking to them about what they’ve been up to and how they’ve adjusted to life here really made me appreciate how much i love norcal. i don’t think there’s anywhere else in the world where you can enjoy the outdoors, have top notch skiing w/in driving distance, be so close to the ocean and have an awesome big city in such a short distance. and of course there’s the weather with sunny warm summers and mild winters. what’s there not to like?

yup, NorCal really is the best. I dont think I could ever leave here for very long either.. I’d miss the weather and all way too much. Hope all is well in Mikeyland
