Mud Run!
mud run was absolutely unbelievable and i highly recommend it to anyone interested in doing a 10k run and doesn’t mind getting a little dirrrrrty. to recap: Team Jizzer woke up at their Escondido condos at 5AM on Saturday to get ready, eat breakfast and drive over to Camp Pendleton. And at 9am, the clock started and we were off to cover 6 miles or so of terrain running with the occasional obstacle:
1. running through a shower of fire hoses
2. 2 mud pits
3. 2 five foot walls in puddles of mud
4. ~100 yard river crossing
5. tire/hay/tube obstacle
6. and the final mud crawl to the finish line
favorite obstacle: 5′ wall in puddle of mud
favorite moment: crossing the finish line with my big sister @ 1hr15min (775th place)
