pisa and back in firenze…
so here i am, back in firenze taking a quick break after lunch of my favorite stop i fratellini for a panini and a glass of wine. yum.. i wish there were a place like that in sf somewhere. i decided not to head out to siene because pisa took a good couple hours and it would have been only 3 hrs there because of the bus and the train i need to catch to head to venice. so instead, i am going to do head back to piazza michelangelo and watch the sunset.. if i can see one since its rather cloudy and cold. tonights challenge, if you wish to accept it, is to make it back to the train station by 840pm and hop on the correct train after enjoying a bottle of wine and some cheese from the most gorgeous view of firenze. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand… i shall TAKE that challenge. muhahaha.
one thing spectacularly nice about traveling by oneself is that you get to be completely and utterly selfish. stomach asks for some gelato.. hell yes! feel like un cafe? theres a cafe at every corner. solo un cafe per favore! grazie. i, for one, love finding my way to places. for those of you who have driven around with me, i dont exactly know how to get to certain places or what streets to take. instead.. i head in the general direction or do a rock, paper, scissors competition to determine the correct direction. because of that i think i have successfully traversed most of the downtown area around firenze. =) awesome.

Mike- I think you need to get a haircut soon. Have a great time in Venice.

You know what they say - “when in rome…”. I think you should grow it out even longer and grease it back
