vallejo race
it’s been awhile since i’ve raced and this weekend was a spectacular way start. we finished the 2-day sailing race today with an all upwind course from vallejo and made great time, catching up to a few boats ahead of us. yesterday was mostly downwind from the bay near san francisco up to vallejo with everyone flying their spinaker’s - a pretty awesome site when there are a few hundred boats out. the photo below isn’t another panorama but just looked better cropped long. after an evening of drinking, dancing and more drinking with the crew, i set up my sleeping back on the deck and totally konked out until the sun woke me up. i’m pretty beat right now and definitely a shade darker.
