bob’s birthday weekend
it was another crazy weekend with bob and jacq visiting the bay area to celebrate bob’s 24th. and in true birthday fashion we went to the Giants game, ate a lot, drank even more and played a ton of video games. haha.. just like old times i guess. dave stayed over from thursday night where he randomly found dan and we all grabbed some thai food downtown. i’m going to have to veto any trips back to the purple thai place (i don’t know the name)… the food is just plain bad. on friday, dave and i went straight for the good stuff: sushi house! which totally made up for the previous night’s bad dining experience. the 10 minute food-coma nap in the airport parking lot was crucial before picking up bob and jacq. on saturday at the game, bonds hit number 731 and the giants won in the bottom of the 11th. Great game. We all dined at Tres Agaves after the game, hung out at my apartment and then dashed off to Suede where we rang in Bob’s 24th. Too bad they didn’t have a mechanical bull. Haha.
