what i think about the killers

so the entire day yesterday, i listened to the killers’ 2006 album “sam’s town” and overall liked it. there were a few songs here and there that i knew i’d like to keep on my trusty ipod. on my drive home, i decided to listen to their old album “hot fuss” to contrast their old and new sounds. and well… their old stuff is SO much better. at least that’s what i think. i think everyone can agree that their stage presence is sub-par… mechanical even - just my 2 cents.

on a side note: rock climbing last night successfully destroyed my hands but i’m definitely getting better. and my new guitar is sitting in shipping and receiving. muhahah

One Response to “what i think about the killers”

  1. You said it.. Sam’s Town (I keep thinking it’s Sam’s Club, the retail chain owned by Walmart) is a little underwhelming. But you should check out the new My Chemical Romance album, “The Black Parade”.

I usually can’t stand any punk, emo, or any of the variations of them, but this isn’t bad at all. It’s like a rock opera - the song “Welcome to the Black Parade” is Queen-ish. They also have a good guitar player, which always helps. But that’s such an oxymoron for a punk/emo band.
