my problem with xmas

is that i find ways of persuading myself to buy expensive gifts… for me. =) well i should be honest. i tend to by expensive gifts for myself all throughout the year but xmas seems like as good a time as any to punish the credit card a little. i thought i was being good and not buying the $300 North Face waterproof ski jacket with integrated avalanche rescue reflector but that decision has been haunting me. my last north face jacket lasted 10+ years. could this be my next 10 year jacket? i blame it on dave and his $400 shopping spree at sports basement.
