The Cupertino Classic and Potluck
It was a close match-up at Memorial Park last Saturday as the Contenders took on the Pretenders in the inaugural Cupertino Classic softball game. Yet another chapter of Dave’s organized sport outings ended with his team, the Contenders, defeating the Pretenders. It was the perfect day for a softball game and the action was intense that drew in spectators from as far as Marin County and players from across the country. Haha. Seriously though, it was an awesome game. And when it ended, I wished it had been a double header. I’m sure the Cupertino Classic will resurface again - hopefully soon.
The Potluck at the Chien’s residence afterward was also very entertaining. Thanks Bob for the keg, Kyle for the Wii and everyone who brought food - the bruschetta was excellent Yi-fang =).
