whistler: my ice cream sundae of awesomeness
It’s Wednesday now and after a relaxing weekend, I feel pretty relieved. The last 6 weeks have been a non-stop roller coaster ride of entertainment. To top it off was an incredible ski trip to none other than the site of some of the Olympic events in 2010: Whistler-Blackcomb. We flew up to Vancouver and took a limo to our townhome on the Blackcomb side. And for 5 nights, we enjoyed the cold dry snow to our heart’s content, cooked, ate, watched Entourage, drank and enjoyed good company. Barney would have described Whistler as “the mini-cherry on top of the regular cherry on top of the sundae of awesomeness that is my life.” That may be a little over the top.. just a little. I doubt things will ever calm down much while living in San Francisco but it’ll be difficult to top the greatness of the last month and a half.
Dec 9th: Sailing the bay and preparing for boat delivery to Los Angeles from San Francisco the following week
Dec 16th: Somewhere off the California coast during the 56 hour non-stop sailing to LA
Dec 23rd: Broomball hosted by DK and Xmas weekend
Dec 27th: Watching UCLA football at the Emerald Bowl
Dec 30th: Cupertino Classic (hosted by DK) and Post Classic Potluck (hosted by yours truly)
Dec 31st: New Years Eve at SF City Hall
Jan 6th: A legendary Las Vegas birthday trip for Allison.. High roller style
Jan 13th: Whistler for some intense skiing… double black style
So what’s in store for the rest of the year? I haven’t quite figured that out yet but tentative trips to Japan, Hawaii, New York, New Orleans, Oregon, Tahoe, Santa Barbara, Virginia, Pennsylvania and LA. Wow… that’s a lot of places to visit.
Dave, Me and Bob at the top of Blackcomb right before conquering some double black goodness down the Big Bang… delicious =)
