Queen Mary II

Superbowl Sunday marked the arrival of the Queen Mary II in San Francisco. Its first ever visit to the bay and the largest ship to ever sail under the Golden Gate with all of 30′ standing between the ship and the bridge as it past underneath. Yes, that’s pretty nerdy but I like the ocean, boats, sailing and more importantly, I had watched this TV special on the building of that ship a few months ago and it’s pretty crazy what’s on that thing. A testament to my love of this year’s Superbowl, I missed all of the first half watching the Queen Mary II come in from the top of the Golden Gate.
