Northstar Ski Trip
The weekend before my birthday, Dave, myself, Nancy, Alex and Dan all drove up in Scrappy2 (for lack of a better name) to Northstar for some skiing. We all stayed at Randy’s place and arrived super late with our host/guests already asleep. I wondered for a second before falling asleep if we were even in the right cabin since I’d never been there before. Haha. Now that would have made for an interesting morning. But all was well and we spent the very warm day at Northstar. After watching Alex (with broken finger) punish the Peppermill buffet, we headed out to Harrah’s for some craps where Dave continued his winning streak with Judge fueling his gambling habit. Bad Judge. Sunday was a lazy day, even warmer than the day before and we ended up not hitting the slopes. Luckily Dan was awake enough to head out to the ticket lines and get rid of the Northstar passes Dave and him got through Craigslist, making a few extra bucks. All in all, a good trip. It’s just really too bad the snow in California this year blows.
