coachella!
I haven’t written here in awhile so there’s a lot I need to catch up on - first Coachella. The last weekend in April, Christina, myself and a bunch of folks road-tripped down to socal mini-van style to check out the bands in the middle of the desert… the very hot, very dry desert. So hot, that I nearly passed out while watching Fountains of Wayne. We stayed at a condo in Palm Springs and made our way out to Coachella for all of the 3 days and catched a ton of bands. Some of the highlights of the trip I think were Regina Spektor, Arctic Monkeys, Travis and of course the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rage and the del. The lowlight for me was Lily Allen’s performance which was a letdown and we left after she forgot words to a few of her songs. Overall it was an awesome experience and I would definitely do it again. Thanks to Christina for booking the housing, Kevin the transportation and Alex for his music neverending muisc knowledge.
